Driving Licence & Age
Drivers should provide a valid national or international driver’s license held at least two years and minimum 23 years age for groups Economy to Wagon, 24 years of age and minimum 3 years of driver’s licence. If you are over 80 years old please inform us.
Insurance Types
Third Party Insurance : Covers the damages caused by the renter to other vehicles, people, property, in legal limits defined by Government of Turkey
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) : Covers the accidental damages to the rental car. CDW does not cover excess fee/deductible which is up to €10.000, windscreen and headlight breakage, tyre punctures and theft of spare tyre. Those can be waived by buying optional HTW (headlight,tyres,windscreen) insurance. We have an exemption of up to €10000.
Theft Insurance : Covers the car when it is stolen. The customer may be responsible for paying rental fee up to the date the car founded. This limit is 30 days (where applicable). If the car is not founded at the end of this limit, the customer does not pay any rental fee for further days when the police is informed at the time of theft.
Personal Accident Insurance : Covers the personal injuries caused by traffic accident to the renter while driving in the limits of the rental car’s insurance policy. Non-Turkish citizens usually do not need that insurance as their personal health insurance or travel insurance may cover the personal injuries.
Important Note : Insurances are void if driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, had passed the legal speed limits, the traffic report is not obtained from the police, damaged car and traffic report not returned to the nearest SUPERIOR CAR RENTAL office in 48 hours. Insurance also does not cover the damages due to the misuse of the car and damages caused by gross negligence.
Rates Include/Rates Exclude
Rates include : Unlimited kilometer, Third Party Insurance (Up to legal limits), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Insurance, VAT 20 %, local taxes, oil, maintenance, 24 hours road assistance.
Rates Exclude : Fuel, Personal insurance (PAI), one way rental fees (where applicable), optional extras ( additional drivers, infant/child seat, special equipment, optional insurances), parking fees, highway tolls, delivery & collection out of office city/airport limits.
Additional Drivers
Rental cars may be driven by maximum 2 additional drivers apart from main driver. No charges often apply for additional drivers. Additional drivers should meet age and licence requirements at the time of rental, also should be registered in the rental agreement. If any accident occurs while non-registered driver is driving the rental car insurance will be void.
Infant/Child/Booster seats/Snow Chains
Up on request at the time of booking infant/child/booster seats are available at an additional cost up to 1.00 to 10.00 GBP per day depending on the number of rental days.
Snow chains are available in some locations and should be specially requested at the time of booking. There is usually a charge for them.
Flight Information
It is customer’s responsibility to provide the correct flight number and arrival time, before departure. If this is not available at the time of booking, please ensure that you will inform us of this at least seven days prior to departure. If the information is not provided in time, no responsibility can be accepted or compensation allowed for a failed rental. This is to allow staff to be ready for you on arrival.
Delivery & Collection
There is no delivery and collection fee at the cities where Superior Car Rental offices are during the office working hours. If you need to pick up/drop off from hotel, accommodation address or out of city limits or office hours, there may be a fee applies EU 0.50 per Km to the nearest SUPERIOR CAR RENTAL office.
One Way Rentals
Delivery to another SUPERIOR CAR RENTAL service point instead of car pick up one, is defined one way rental. There is EU 0.30/km drop off fee multiplied by the distance between the pick up and drop off points.
Car Groups/Models
Particular makes and models of vehicles are not guaranteed. The requested group and specifications (e.g. Compact A/C manual) would be guaranteed. SUPERIOR CAR RENTAL reserves the right to substitute the car type reserved to a similar or higher car group, under circumstances beyond control.
Delayed Return/Early Return
Delayed Return : For each hour the charge is 1/3 of daily rate. If it’s more than 3 hours then it will be counted as an extra day.
Early Return : There are no refunds given for vehicles returned before the specified return date/time written in the rental agreement.
Condition of Vehicle
Vehicle should be returned at the same condition it is rented. If a special cleaning is required it may be charged at return.
Fuel Policy
Vehicles are not provided full tank, so client should return the car as it is rented. If the car is returned with more fuel than at pick up, there will be no refund.
Traffic Fines
Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period must be payed by renter.

PRICE
Price includes: Civilian insurance, Emergency road assistance 24/7 and Sales Tax.
PERIOD
Minimal rental period 1 day.
LIABILITY
The lessee undertakes full responsibility if a non insurable event occurs during the period of rent. The lessee takes the responsibility for all the consequences that may occur if transferring the car to a third person. If the lessee violates the road traffic rules he must pay all related penalties.
In case of car theft the lessee must compensate the damage if don’t return the car keys and registration documents to the renter.
RENTAL AGREEMENT
- Through this agreement, the lessor, Superiora, has leased the vehicle specified in the vehicle contract with its license plate to the lessee under the terms outlined in this agreement, and the lessee has accepted the terms by renting the vehicle.
- The rental period is a minimum of 1 day (24 hours). Daily rates are applicable for shorter rentals. In case of delay, if the delay exceeds 1 hour, the full day rate will be charged.
- The lessee is responsible for penalty procedures and towing expenses resulting from accidents caused by violations of traffic rules on highways. The lessee is aware that the vehicle provided under this Agreement can only be used by themselves, and no third party outside the contract is granted the right to use it. Any deviation from this clause or other clauses of the Agreement resulting in damages due to failure to adhere to the vehicle delivery-return dates makes the Lessee liable for all damages incurred by the Lessor, and the Lessee may be held accountable or be required to compensate the Lessor. This provision also applies to Additional Drivers, and both the Lessee and the Additional Driver are jointly and severally liable to the Lessor.
- At the start of the rental, users of the vehicle must present their driver’s licenses. Payments are made at the beginning of the rental.
- The lessee will return the vehicle on the agreed-upon day. For extensions, the lessee must seek approval from Superiora. If approval is not obtained, it is acknowledged that the lessee is unlawfully in possession of the vehicle.
- The lessee must comply with highway regulations and current laws. In case of legal proceedings due to the vehicle’s use in violation of laws and regulations, the lessee is responsible for expenses (fines, vehicle confiscation, towing, etc.).
- At the start of the rental, a deposit ranging from 1,000 TL to 35,000 TL according to the car group will be collected in cash or by credit card from the lessee, and the deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the end of the rental.
- Upon request, the lessee may purchase additional insurances to expand coverage, including an exemption of 35,000 TL to 350.000 TL for all vehicles, optional financial liability insurance, and personal accident insurance.
- In case of damage or breakdown, the lessee is responsible for delivering the vehicle to an authorized service safely and for the costs. Superiora must be informed when delivering the vehicle to the service.
- The lessee will return the vehicle in the same condition as received, on the specified day, time, and place, or earlier upon the lessor’s request.
- Upon the lessor’s request, the lessee is responsible for paying rental fees, insurance fees, one-way fees, taxes, and any expenses arising from damages, fines, or immobilization of the vehicle. The lessee can benefit from vehicle insurance by signing the ‘Acceptance’ box in the rental agreement and paying the premium for the excess waiver limit in advance.
- The lessee agrees to bear responsibility for damages and related expenses in specific conditions, despite having insurance coverage, including accidents under the influence, accidents solely due to the lessee’s fault, speeding violations, and damages not covered by insurance.
- In case of damage, an additional damage tracking fee will be charged to the lessee. When not in use, the lessee must take measures against accidents or theft, including parking the vehicle in a safe place and notifying Superiora and the police in case of theft.
- If the vehicle is not returned or delivered as per the agreement terms, or if costs are unpaid, the lessor may initiate legal procedures for vehicle return and debt collection.
- Disputes arising from this Agreement shall be settled by Muğla Courts and Enforcement Offices, with legal rights reserved for both parties.
- The lessee is responsible for any damage or harm to transported goods or passengers.
- In case of an accident, the lessee must notify authorities and submit reports to Superiora within 24 hours.
- The lessee or any authorized driver is insured with a traffic insurance policy. The lessor assumes responsibility within insurance limits, with any excess liability belonging to the lessee.
- The lessee will be insured under the lessor’s personal accident insurance policy upon payment.
- The lessee is obliged to complete documents and procedures for vehicle damage reflected to the insurance company.
- After vehicle retrieval, the lessor is not responsible for any items left inside. Failure to return the vehicle constitutes a criminal offense, and no insurance coverage applies for unauthorized use.
- The lessee cannot extend the rental period unilaterally and must obtain lessor approval for extensions.
- If the lessee fails to comply, the lessor has the right to retrieve the vehicle and hold the lessee liable for damages. No separate notification will be given for these matters.
- The lessor may unilaterally terminate the Agreement by notifying the lessee through various means of communication.
- Rental conditions outlined in brochures provided by the lessor are accepted by the lessee.
- The lessee acknowledges and accepts vehicle tracking systems and waives any objections.
- Documents and records of the lessor are valid and binding in disputes, with no other evidence considered.
- Disputes will be resolved according to Turkish laws.
- The lessor may use and transfer the lessee’s personal data collected in connection with this agreement for specified purposes.
